Install applications with Easy Flatpak
GLF OS has the EasyFlatpak software library, which allows you to install your software in flatpak format in just a few clicks.
It is also possible to install several applications at once.
We have also created application groups classified by theme: Gaming, Graphic Design and Software Development.
Manage your disks with Nix Disk Manager
GLF OS comes with a disk management tool.
You can mount your secondary disks via a graphical interface.
They will then be automatically mounted and accessible each time you restart.

Display statistics on your hardware usage in-game
MangoHud is pre-installed and configurable using GOverlay, a comprehensive graphical interface for managing MangoHud and vkBasalt.
GOverlay allows you to:
- Configure the display of statistics (FPS, GPU, CPU, RAM, etc.)
- Enable/disable MangoHud globally via the Global Enable option
- Apply post-processing effects with vkBasalt
Important
After enabling or disabling the Global Enable (or Auto Enable) option in GOverlay, you must log out and log back in (GNOME or KDE) for the change to take effect.
Manage your firewall with Nix Firewall Manager
GLF OS includes a firewall management tool. You can enable/disable the firewall and add rules to open specific ports via a graphical interface, without touching the terminal.
Preconfigured presets are available for common use cases (SSH, HTTP, Steam, KDE Connect, Samba...).

Mount Samba network shares with Nix Samba
GLF OS includes a tool to mount Samba (CIFS) network shares. You can add, edit and delete remote share mount points, create credentials files, and configure systemd mount options — all through a graphical interface.

Tool for changing versions/editions
Although GLF OS is primarily focused on gaming, it also offers tools for content creators with its Studio edition!
- Mini: GLF OS base and tools, graphics drivers installed (Nvidia included) and Firefox
- Standard: also provides Lutris, Heroic Games Launcher, Steam, OpenRGB and LibreOffice.
- Studio: Also provides Kdenlive, OBS, GIMP, Audacity, Freetube, Blender and Davinci Resolve (free version)
- Studio Pro: Same as Studio but with the pro version of Davinci Resolve (paid licence)
