To facilitate the few interactions you may have with the terminal, we have added glf commands.

Important

These new commands are aliases for more verbose NixOS commands.
Note that these aliases only work if you have the experimental flake feature enabled, which is the default with GLF-OS.

Name Function

glf-update

Force the system to update. Requires a reboot.

Note

This is the recommended method for any changes to your configuration.

glf-switch

Applies the configuration change immediately.

Useful when making a change in /etc/nixos/customConfig/default.nix.

Warning

Some changes require a restart.
Use this if you know what you are doing.

glf-history

 Display the update history

glf-systeminfo

 View system information.

GLFfetch

 Get the GLF-OS-specific Fetch
