Caution
This page will become obsolete when EasyFlatpak is provided via a native nix package instead of flatpak.
Easy Flatpak does not appear in the taskbar or in the list of applications.
Easy Flatpak is currently installed via Flatpak.
For technical reasons, the installation of the latter is performed post-installation with the flatpak-repo service and therefore does not appear immediately on first start-up.
Several dependencies must first be installed, which takes some time (depending on your internet connection).
After a while, EasyFlatpak should appear on its own (after about ten minutes) or after a restart.
To check the progress of the installation:
Console application,sudo journalctl -u flatpak-repo.service -f
You may also have a network-related issue, so check that you have an internet connection.
If the service is down, EasyFlatpak will not be installed after a long time. From the Console application, run the command:
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://dl.flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo && flatpak install -y flathub org.dupot.easyflatpak
EasyFlatpak should appear in your application list and taskbar.
